Early on Friday morning, a few keen souls met near the Old Swan Brewery to
get some sunrise photos.
Once the sun was up, we then made our way up the river to the Crawley Edge Boatshed. This iconic boatshed must feature in a lot of photos, and on weekends, you can often see wedding parties being photographed on the jetty that leads to this boatshed.
According to a plaque mounted near the end of the jetty, this boatshed was thought to have been originally constructed in the early 1930s. It has changed hands several times, and after being refurbished in the early 2000s, it was re-launched by triple solo-circumnavigator of the world, Jon Sanders, and single solo-circumnavigator David Dicks.
I think it's due for some more repairs, as the far side of the boadshed has a noticeable sag, and there are several planks missing from the jetty.

Sigh. Why must photographers always take pictures of other photographers? With all due respect to Geoff and Martybugs, I'm sure this would be a nicer photo without the guy with the camera on it, wouldn't it?
